The Assembly

Today it was the first day back at school from the Holidays for Term 2 so we had an assembly. So for this term each class would learn or do navigation. For Team 1 they would be learning about looking after bees and other animals as well so by saving bees they will make a pathway for the bees with everyone's help. Next Team 2 would use navigation's by looking up,underneath,looking left or right and turning around to find things. For Team 3 they would choose their own adventures by deciding their choices and deciding where to go. For Team 4's one in the video the Team 4 teachers had to find Pt England School by not using their phones or GPS to go to a meeting with Mr Goodwin so they had an map and a compass to navigate their way when Mrs Sio had an Idea where to go she had made everyone go to KFC instead of school. Lastly Team 5 would be using a map and go around the whole world. So for this term the theme is Lattitude. I would wonder for this term what are we doing?

The Career Talk

Today at school we had 3 guest speakers to talk about their career. They had been talking and introducing themselves to the yr7&8’s. Each of them had been related or friends with Mrs Tele’a. The special guests  names were Jason,Fiona and Tanielu. Each of them had a different career,aspirations and dreams. Jason was talking about his career and what he did in school,college his job was about building or working in a company. Next Fiona was Mrs Tele'a sister her career was working in a funeral home she also said few things about school.At last there is Tanielu he use to be in this school about a few years ago his career is playing the blues in rugby. He had hobbies and other things to talk about. Tanielu used to play rugby in pt england. At the end two students gave them a gift and hope them well.

Whirlwind

Today at school we had done another plot line but it's by our self instead. so we had read a new chapter book called Whirlwind which tells a normal story but with thunder,lightning,Tornado's.

8. For this year my teachers are Mrs Moala,Mrs llaoa.

9. Today we had Maori in the Whare, for Maori the teacher was Whaea Saf.

10.The movie that I had liked was Moana,Moana was showing

the way at Pt England.

For my sentences I had decided to make the words more longer and put some

compound words as well.I had used a few words and changed
the sentences to make sense.
