Another day at tech

Yesterday at tech we had made mac n cheese.Since we had to use bacon for my group we had to use vegetarian bacon instead.So we had to wait and listen to Mrs Heka's  rules like what we need to do.After you've done what she had said she will come around to turn on the oven for each group. if you don't listen or wear covered shoes then she won't help you .

Big Shift Plot Line

Today my group had read a book called Big shift. Big shift was wrote by Jacqui Brown.Big shift is a story which included characters. We explained what had happened in the story so each of us wrote sentences.

Practical Percentages

Today at maths we had learnt about percentage and what it means. For example 1%12=0.12  which is easy. but it gets harder after that.

Suipi

Suipi is an story which was including what an inference means.This also was showing what and how to play or know about Suipi. The characters were Nana,Monique,Mom and dad.

Pollyfest

On Wednesday Team 5 and other schools went to pollyfest which was kind of fun every group either had  parents or teachers.My group leader was Fili Tatia's mom.my favorite thing to was watching the performances. Pollyfest was an nice place to go and have fun. By the time it was nearly time to go back in the bus.During that time we could go and by things if we had money you could also get things free as well.

Food Tech At Tamaki College

Today at tamaki college the yr 7's  tech for my group we had food tech which was cooking. The cooking teacher was Mrs Heka. We got to get into groups . Since were together we are only allowed to Halal food.The thing we cooked is  Free tata which included Onions,Bacon,milk,Kumara and eggs. The meat we used was vegetarian bacon which was nice to eat.the food was nice & I enjoyed it. Thank you tamaki college.   

Tivaevae

Tivaevae is based in a story in southern & northern cook islands where they made patterns only using two colors and material to make it. The women's had to take turns each day because they were tired and it wouldn't be fair if one person takes turn each day.
