Athletics Day

First thing we did was lining up because on Friday it was Athletics day we had to wear our house colour then we had to go to the court and sit down to listen to Mr Burt our first sport was tug of war.

Our second sport was the high jump Mrs King was teaching us about the high jump that you can’t hit the pole because if you do you will have to go to Mrs Davis to do the easy high jump.

Our third sport was the spiriting we had to be in lines then Mr Burt says that we have to stay in lines until he gives you a number and line up by the lane then you run to the cone and come back to Mr Burt in a line if you come first ,second, third or fourth you have to run again in the finals.

Our fourth sport is disks where you have to throw one and it can’t go out the white line then you have to miss a turn also you have to be careful to not hit or hurt people you have to have your own space before you throw the disks

Our fifth sport was the wheelbarrow race where you have to have a buddy and carry your buddies leg also cheer for them when they are last because you will have to be in different groups and different buddies but the same house color.

Manaiakalani film festival

A day full of joy my class was jumping on the bus to go to the Manaiakalani film festival .I was sitting with my friends with excitement and waiting anxiously for our school movies with joy also I was cheering with my friends for our class movie.

I was feeling really proud of myself and all of the teachers in point england school. But I’m also proud of Mr Moran,Mrs Davis and Mrs King for making our class movie  even our presenters to talk in front of the whole school.

My favorite movie was go for gold also room 18s movie it was amazing and funny .Because when Mamarei had hugged Levonah she had not gave up also had crossed the finish line first before everyone I had felt proud of Amira to be the teacher and Mamarei to be Levonahs coach my most favorite movie was the go for gold from Mrs Davis.

Invention

I knew some girls called Bella,Katie,Kathleen and Ella they were trying to solve a big problem that is around the world when they had found a problem that someone had been devastating of someone that been attacked by a killer clown.

Bella,Kathleen,Ella ,Katie were making a invention to solve that problem they had made an invention called the killer clown invention it can get a clown or a killer clown any time the killer clown invention the person's  name was Daisy she was sad because her sister Minnie had been attacked  also her mum was attacked but not from a killer clown just from a clown.

So Bella and Kathleen were Minnie's best friend Ella and Katie were Daisy’s best friend they never get along when Daisy had last saw her was when it was halloween daisy was a wolf minnie was a werewolf but someone had been a killer clown there mum was with her friends and Daisy was too minnie was alone a clown was about to hurt her when mum and daisy came minnie was dead minnie cried daisy that was when I saw her but in a haunted house she was my next door neighbour she was my little sister a girl had been dead in there every night she comes to spy on me .

There once was 4 people their names are Rosie, Katie , John , and James they were walking in the bush to solve a mystery of 2 people lost  their name is Daisy  and Tom they had come to have a walk but they got hurt because they needed to find a place to practice their new experiment but Rosie said that we need to find Daisy and Tom and  we have to split so we don’t be together I will be with Katie John and James will be with each other but Katie told everyone that she might know where they are because she has only seen  but not Tom even daisy doesn't know where Tom might be last time she has seen Tom was when he got scared from a creature  like a ghost Daisy had been frightened then she had ran fast away from the ghost and  kilclown  Rosie and Katie had saved Tom and Daisy Katie had told them where to go Daisy and Tom found somewhere else to do their experiment at a laboratory .

Today we were wet because our ginger beer had expoled and Miss king , Mr Moran had laghed at us also I got really wet we got to taste the ginger it has tasted sweet and a it was a little bit sour but it was nice

Lost

Once there was a girl named Ella and her mum told Ella to go to sleep. One night when Ella woke up in middle of the night  she was in the middle of nowhere she was all alone Ella felt scared .

Ella had teleported in the middle of africa  she had a journey Ella really wanted to go home she had felt petrified Ella had missed her mum then Ella had again teleported around the world.

Ella had teleported to the park where she had found the teleporter then Ella had went to  her home but she really had missed her mum then she went to her mum and hugged her but Ella’s little brother max missed Ella too and they lived happily ever after the end.

Scientists

Once there was 3 girl scientists and 3 boy scientists there names are Cutie pie ,Grace ,Davinia and Fuzzy ,John ,Glenn there experiment was about an explosion. They made mentos and coke they had put some socks then Davina had put milk eggs some mentos so they were ready to do there explosion before everyone had put on a white jacket and had to put the test tube on they had counted down from 10 then they had a smokey building Fuzzy ,John and Glenn was scared for their life there laboratory was smokey so Grace told Cutie pie,Davinia and Fuzzy that we will work on another experiment about making elephant toothpaste then Davina had put some more socks Grace had put some more milk Cutie pie had put some eggs and some more mentos then again they count down from 10 then the elephant toothpaste had exploded .

Superhero.

Once there was a superhero team called thunder friends. There names are, Hope ,Tatia , Zaeeda and Amira there superpowers are Hope’s power is to make things grow.Tatia’s power is flying. Zaeeda’s power is being invisible and Amira’s power is  saving people   and reading .Then Mamarei and megan can’t find their painting then Amira said ‘’I will use my superpower then Amira was flying also Hope had made a hill grow then Hope told a painting man ‘’Did you see a painting no said the painting man they had found there paintings outside the end.

The first Olympic games

The Olympics 1896 in Athens in Greece had fourteen countries taking part with most athletes from Greece. This first modern Olympics was the largest meeting of  international competitors that had ever occurred. The next Olympics held in Paris four years later was the first  to allow women competitors . This time the Olympics were apart of the much bigger event and lasted several months.

The ancient greeks started the tradition of having an Olympic flame. In Olympia a sacred flame is lit by the sun's rays and stays alight until the games have ended .The flame symbolized a request for protection from Zeus and the athletes’ struggles for victory.

The modern flame symbolizes the light of the spirit, knowledge and life. To this day, the torch is still lit in Olympia in Greece, then carried by a relay team, passing runner to runner, until it reaches the host-city of the games .There, the cauldron will be lit and stay alight until .The closing ceremony.

The Olympics begin over two and a half thousand years ago in ancient greece in those days greece was made up of several different states  including athens sparta and corinth and they were often at a war with each other    but when the game was on they held a truce this grace event was held at a place called Olympics and this is why the game  is called Olympia they were held for once every four years  in honour  of Zeus lord of all the gods avieg to the  ancient Olympics were abolished by Roman  Emperor and the Theodosus the first who was a Christian and didn't like the games and they were dedicated to a pagan god  but the Olympics were always remembered as a sembull human a chefment and peace.

My trip to Te tuhi down in pakuranga

First  thing in the morning  we were walking to the bus to Te Tuhi so we can see some art and carefully listened to Jeremy also we did our dream houses  made with shapes then went to the art gallery  and  we saw short movie also we saw movie that you can make metal with   we needed to cut the shapes out and glue them .

Today we got Duffy books from Duffy and I love this book from Farah mohammed.

Londen Eye

The London eye is a ferris wheel with outstanding views. The London eye is 120 metres tall, also the people look very small . The London eye is in England because it took them 7 years to build it.  The London eye is spacious and scary on top  because it is very high.

After my performance. I was proud of myself because my family were cheering for me they were saying to me that it was amazing to represent my whanau.

Swimming

Under the water my legs were kicking up and down.diving throw the pool I want to learn to swimming.  I love swimming with my friends because I need a bit of help.

The frog.

Floating on the leaf the slimy green frog wanted to catch the  small  cricket on the leaf .The frog outstretched  tongue but the cricket gripped on a tree instead he wants to catch his prey  the cricket.

Ran away but the frog has big wide eyes to see where it is going home because it's hungry the frog is tired .

New Zealand Flag

New Zealanders have begun voting on whether to change their flag from a design which features the British Union Jack to one that features a silver fern. Some people say that the current flag is similar to Australia flag. Also New Zealand is no longer a part of Britain and we need a new flag that represents our nation.

Nestled within the blue and yellow pillow eager children anticipated. The ride the countdown was on .Three, two, one. Terror mixed with excitement was writter all over their faces as they were catapulted towards the sky . Spinning ,twirling and tumbling the children twisted their way

throught the air. As they plummeted towards the water their faces grinned in delight .Splash .

Roller coaster

Roller coasters are truly my worst nightmare,I could not believe I was here.  but i bravely stepped forward . I had never been more terrified ,than when I stood looking up at that monstrosity. Closing my eyes , I wish over and over a again that the ride would soon end. With the wind rushing past my face ,I could hardly see anything. Would we make it out alive?
