Andy Warhol  (born name Andrew Warhola) was a famous artist who was born in 6th August 1928 (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania)  and sadly died back in 22nd February 1987. Andy's parents were Slovakian immigrants. His father was a construction worker while his mother was an embroiderer. Around the age of 8, Andy contacted Chorea previously known as St. Vitus's Dance. Andy was sick in bed, while his mother (A very skilled artist) so she gave Andy a few lessons.

Drawing soon became Warhol's favourite pastime in his childhood. He was also a fan of Avid of movies. Once he turned 9, his mother brought him a camera so he took photography as well. Andrew attended Holmes Elementary and took free art classes offered from Carnegie Institute (Now known as Carnegie Museum Of Art, Pittsburgh) . Around 1942, at the age of 14, Andy suffered a tragedy when sadly his father passed away from a Jaundiced liver. Andy got really upset to the point where he never attended his fathers funeral but just slowly sobbed underneath his bed for awhile to show how precious his father was towards him.

Warhol's father recognised Andy's artistic skills and he decided that his life savings would go to Andy's education at College. Around that same year, Andy attended Schenly High School then soon he graduated in 1945 (3 years) .
