Stranded on a island
On a normal day we went to a beach to grabs things we need but suddenly everyone got lost each of us got onto a weird island. When we woke up Trinity said how did we end up in a island. Let’s explore the island I said ok said Hope
Each of us got really close to each other so we don’t get separated from each other. Suddenly we got lost but we were able to find Amira and Tatia. They were talking a lot but we wanted to go back home to our family so we took.
Tatia & Amira with us to help at night it was really dark so we looked for boats to use. In the morning we found a boat but it was broken so we never used it but we found another boat that wasn’t broken but someone owned it but no one was here.
Other than my friends and myself. So we took it and unfortunately it wasn’t enough room for everyone so we all tried to fit and it worked so we went along the ocean we saw a lot of animals there we found the beach and everyone was gone.
We saw Miss Parrant with our class. Hope was looking for her class also was amira I felt bad for them so we took them with us but some people weren’t here which was weird usually everyone was here but no after school everything was back to normal except the people who were lost but they were able to come back.

Week at School
On Tuesday all the people who were going to camp left. Only a few people who were not going camp just stayed at school with Mrs Sio. After they left it was boring but much more quieter than before it used to be with the campers.
The people who didn’t go camp got to go to the beach. To find shells and clay for a cave art drawing that we were going to do soon. Then we went back to our class and started to get paper for the art we were going to do.
On Wednesday we got a paint brush then we got a container with coffee. Then we had to dip our brushes and put coffee on the paper. After that we started to draw. We got pencils and pastels to draw and colour with.
On Thursday we needed to finish off our work to put on the wall after school luckily everyone finished and got juicies only if we finished the art work. After school we played spin the bottle. Whoever it lands to gets a lolly or juicie. If you get one then you spin the bottle.
On Friday after assembly we did just dance then we did cool maths games. After morning tea we make slime we got to choose the colors that they had there were Red,Orange and Yellow after that we made pancakes with that we got ice cream and sprinkles with whipped cream. After that we had pizzas & hot chips for shared lunch. After lunchtime we did some more fun things.
I really enjoyed friday because we got to make slime and eat pancakes with ice cream,Sprinkles also Whipped cream. I would like to thank Whaea Kelly and Mrs Sio also Mrs Kathy because she helped everyone with their cave art & she was able to put it on the wall.

Who am I
Does anyone know a game called Who am I? I do. Today Room 8 did a game called Who am I and it was a fun activity to do with my class.
Miss Parrant said if you are holding the paper you can’t cheat and you can ask questions to figure out the answer.The other person acts it out. My group was Nahea and Nevayah.
Nahea was holding the paper while Nevayah and I had to act it out and we can say yes or no. If it was hard we just say one thing that relates to the answer. Sometimes we gave her a hint to help when she is stuck.
After that everyone in my group would have a turn.When we are done with the paper we give it back to Miss parrant and get another one but different to what we did before.
It was a fun experiment to do as a class. It went well. It was fun because it was funny and we can only say yes or no. I wish we could play Who am I again with my class.

Marshmallow Challenge
Have you ever heard of a marshmallow challenge. Well I have today me and my class did a challenge with one marshmallow on top and we did it in groups. It was a fun challenge to do with my class. My group was Jordin,Mata and Faga.
Firstly we sat on the blue space and Miss Parrant said have 18 minutes to build the tower. We were given strings to use and pasta but raw and tape also one marshmallow to put on the top when your done. If it touches the wall or anything to lean on then your out and Miss Parrant will measure the tallest free standing tower to win.
First we got one pasta then used tape and we just did that a few more times. Then we made a square and my teams tower kept falling over and over also breaking some times. Which was a problem for our group so we tried again and again.
We put the final touch on the tower which was a marshmallow. It was a wonky tower and it kept falling we used a lot of the pasta and tape on the tower so that it won’t fall again. But instead it fell so we just did it again and again until it stopped falling.
My group completely forgot about the strings we were fine with it and we lost. At the end our tower broke at 1 minute till the timer was done but we got to recover at the end of the timer. It was a pretty bad tower without the string to help us out.

The school holidays are over and the term has started.The topic for this term is Te Wa Toi. It means time for art and everyone will be doing different kinds of art which includes animals, zoos and other things.
The reason why am excited for this term is because of different events that will happen like film festival and athletics day also year 6 camp in November.
My goals for this term are finishing my writing and soon my reading so that I can post both of the things on my blog so people can see what I have done.
I am hoping to learn about different kinds of art and other things like reading and writing so that I am ready for anything like a test or some other stuff that doesn’t even include art.
So term 4 is a really busy term because we have a lot of events going on like athletics day and year 6 camp also film festival and other things. My goals are to achieve is my writing and reading. I even want to learn about different kinds of art.

Cross Country with a Twist
Cross Country with a Twist WAlT: create a recount using descriptive language. Instructions: You are going to create a recount about cross country that we had at school last week. You will need to write two paragraphs about what actually happened at cross country and one that didn’t happen or happened differently to how you are going to recount it. On Friday after lunch we had to line up in a girls and boys line for cross country. Then we had to watch the whole school run. Then we were last to run. I was in the yellow team. The boys went first before the girls Paragraph 2: Truth or Lie? Recount in the order that it happened. Who does it involve? What was it? and the seniors had to do 2 laps of running and instead of having water in a cup we had spring water. So we had to run 2 laps as well the rest of the school except the year 7&8’s had to do 1 lap also the year 7&8’s went before us. Paragraph 3: Truth or Lie? Recount in the order that it happened. Who does it involve? What was it? The cross country was tiring we got to jog or walk and especially run I started to walk half way when l was tired then I jogged and ran at the very end I never want to do this ever again. I was very exhausted and tired also I tried my best and took my time not run very fast I wanted to give up at the very end.

Move Ya Body animation
This is my term 3 animation. The sport l chose was soccer. If you play soccer then you will become fit and healthy how to play soccer is that you can’t cheat and you can’t use your hands.
You can only use your legs to kick and if your a defender you need to block the soccer ball and not let the person score not even one bit. If you want to win then you can either distract the defender or kick where the space is open to win the game.

Once upon a time there lived a prince called Ryan who lived in a castle in a forest in Paris he also had to marry a princess but some girls were fake princesses. Then on a wet rainy day there was a knock on the door when Prince Ryan opened the door he saw a lady who was completely wet and her dress was purple then the girl said her name was Belle. Then the prince called his mother and they said lets just test her to see if she is truly a princess. Belle how did you end up here said the prince well I got separated from my family cause of the thunderstorm said Belle oh dear go to your bedroom. Ella come here said the Queen what do you need my Queen said the servant go get 12 mattresses right now and wait in Belle’s room said the Queen ok said ella. The Queen got a sphere toy and put it under the mattress then the servant came with the mattresses and putted the mattresses on the bed. Then came night time Belle couldn’t sleep and kept turning and turning then at morning she came to the kitchen and had baggs under her eyes and red eyes also messy hair the Queen said how did you sleep dear then Belle said badly thanks but the bed was uncomfortable I felt like there was something that was weird. Then the Prince said well your a true princess because it was all a test and Belle said what are you kidding me that was a test. Yes it was and your a princess you are welcome to marry Ryan said Aurora. Why would l want to marry someone who treats me like that Belle asked. Well she married the prince and wasn’t happy at all. Then she had twins a boy and girl also they lived happily ever after.

Then put in a seed. 5. And put the soil on top. 6. Water the seed then leave it for 3 weeks. You need to care about your plant because it needs to have sunlight and after each day you water it and make sure that it has oxygen then my plant will grow 5-8 days and I think it will grow in 3 weeks instead.

Goldilocks and the 3 bears
Once upon a time there lived a family of three bears and a girl called Goldi. The reason that she is called Goldi is because she had gold hair. Goldi found a house but she didn’t know that it belongs to a family of bears.
She knocked on the door and said is there anyone in here then she walked inside. Inside there was nothing on the table but apples.So Goldi just walked around then came back to
the table to see the apples I’m very hungry though there is apples.
First Goldie tried the big apple it’s to big says Goldie next she tried the medium apple it’s perfect except I need a smaller apple next she tried the smaller apple. Goldie says it’s perfect and very juicy and Goldie ate all of it then walked into the living room and saw three couch’s.
I need to sit down Goldie try’s the big couch it’s to big. Next Goldie try’s the second one it’s to soft but She sat down on the small one it is perfect. But Goldie broke the chair know i’m sleepy then she walked upstairs and walked to the little bed and went to sleep.
Meanwhile the bears just came back but they saw that the door was half open. So they were surprised and were starting to walk inside. The bears saw everything was how they the bears left it but just noticed that someone had bitten their apple but no one was in there house.
So they checked the living room next then they saw that the little bears couch was broken .Then they walked into the bedroom and saw Goldie sleeping on the bed. Goldie woke up and saw the bears she was terrified so she tried to run downstairs but the bears blocked the stairs.
The bears told Goldi that she can visit the bears but can not mess the house then the bears told Goldi that she can stay over if she wants. But Goldi runs home and says goodbye to the bears then they lived happily ever after.
