Art Alive Expo

 Today the whole of Point England School had a Art Expo. Each class or team had different types of art from different Artists some of them included Pop-Art for which Andy Warhol (Full Name - Andrew Warhola) used for his arts. The Art-Expo included many different variations of art and some classes had paintings about Covid-19. The younger classes (Team 3 and under) had colourful paintings and decorations about art. Some of them included Tie-Dye shirts with different colours. Team 4 had their own versions of many different patterns and wrote a little bit about it. 

Room 9 and 10 had patterns and they had the Official School Logo coloured fully. And lastly Team 5 were based on different artists  like Van Gogh or Andy Warhol. 

This was very enjoyable to people and this was very fun to do! Sadly this is our last event at this School.

Te Whare Tapa Wha-Taha Wairua (Spiritual Health)

Task description- Today we had done another task but this time it's about our spiritual health.Instead of making a video I chose to do a quote about who we are.Basically I wrote about "how we are and not to change it".

Te Whare Tapa Wha-Taha Hinengaro

Task description- Today for homeclass we had a "Te whare tapa wha" task to complete for the week.Taha Hinengaro means mental health & emotions as well.In class we also did meditation for this task.I felt a bit confused when we had to do the meditation.

Geometry (Wk5)

Task description-Today I finished my maths work and it was about Geometry! this task is about shapes and reflection.At the last slide I had to write down my name and I had to try to find if my name has a line of symmetry but sadly for my first letter F it didn't have a line so I tended to not give myself a line since it wouldn't have been fair since a's have a line.

Punctuation Practise-Review

Task description-Today for our literacy google meet we had a review of what we did on Monday & Tuesday.This review is about commas and capital letters.The highlights are where the commas/capital letters should be.

Oakley Creek

WALT: Locate information in a text.
Task Description-Today for reading we had to read a story about Oakley Creek.This story was about a girl named Faith and her mother wanted to meet her teacher so she didn't know what to do.

Commas

Task description-Today in google meet we had to do another Punctuation Practise but this time it was about Commas.The highlighted parts are where the Commas should be.Commas should be after someone's name,describing a setting & after something happened.

Capital Letters.

Task description-Today as a whole literacy class our teacher "Mrs Moala" shared everyone a google drawing.This google drawing was about a letter someone wrote.Our job on our google meet was that we had to try to put capital letters in places where they should be.
