Today at school we had to finish of our book called Wining's Wairau. This story is old but it might be either nonfiction or fiction and were it was based.

Today my group were reading a book called Te Tiriti O Waitangi which tells some things behind waitangi like when it happened . The 3p's of waitangi  paticipation,protection and partnerhip.

The Attitude Talk.

Today at school we had a talk about our attitude with a person called Jannah. During the talk she had said multiple things about friendship like the friendship types. She had said some examples also some jokes as well. She had talked about the relationships about being friends.After that we have got some paper to write our name the pass the paper to the person beside you
then they have to write words to describe things about you.Even if you don't know them just write one word.

The author’s mother taught her to sew.	Agree because in the story the author wrote that I can sew now.	Although it’s not really me It’s because of her I can now sew on my own
Many Cook Island people wear coats similar to the author’s mother.	Agree it is pretty similar to the one that the cook islands wear.	The uncool design extravagant colouring and awkward fit I did not want to be marked if only I knew then.
The author grew up somewhere with very cold winters.	Agree if she grew up in winter she would or see what she knows.	Since the author grew up in winter she knows a few things when she was little.

Personification is giving human traits or emotions to a non-human object.

Ex. The wind angrily howled through the night.

For each object in the picture, write a sentence using personification.

The clouds:

The clouds were gray which means lightning will happen.There were rain happening as well.

The rain:

It was raining hard with the clouds gray. It kept raining until it looked like thunder.

The lightning:

It was raining and lightning was very shocking to happen during the dark night.

Parts of a narrative

Today at reading we had to do a activity which was called parts of a narrative  for our story called big shift.the things that was included was a  Exposition, Rising action, Climax, Falling action and resolution. 

Another day at tech

Yesterday at tech we had made mac n cheese.Since we had to use bacon for my group we had to use vegetarian bacon instead.So we had to wait and listen to Mrs Heka's  rules like what we need to do.After you've done what she had said she will come around to turn on the oven for each group. if you don't listen or wear covered shoes then she won't help you .

Big Shift Plot Line

Today my group had read a book called Big shift. Big shift was wrote by Jacqui Brown.Big shift is a story which included characters. We explained what had happened in the story so each of us wrote sentences.
