Complex Sentences

Today my literacy class has been learning about what are independent and dependent clauses are.Since Mrs Moala said "we had to be in pairs" I decided to be with my friend Trinity.We each had to have the same highlights but those were done by own-selves.But also our teacher Mrs Moala had chosen the background for us.Independent clauses are "a complete thought"that could make sense by itself while the dependent clauses are the complete opposite of a complete thought but instead it's a "Uncompleted thought" that couldn't make sense by itself.Everyone had to guess which 1 is the independent clause and the dependent clause.Either way we had to highlight it blue for the independent clause while the opposite is red.

How to be a good Daughter

How can you be a good daughter? Being a good daughter means to be helpful,supportive and
enthusiastic.Are you a good Daughter?

1.Being Helpful:

Being Helpful is 1 of the most of what you should really do.Helpful translates
to doing things that are helping at least.Whenever they need help, just go for it and ask
if they need help if they say no or etc just do it and help.
For example,imagine if your Mother or father needs help for a job or handing them things they need.
But you also have to be really kind to them don’t just be rude towards them because they did everything
for you

2.Being supportive :

Showing support is something that you should definitely do to whoever is with you especially
with your parents.You need to support them when they are sick, at the hospital or
even performing you have to at least clap for them and be happy not just be like a meanie
who doesn’t care.They are singing and when they are done you clap and smile to show
that you enjoyed it.For example,when something good happens or you get either 1st,
2nd or 3rd your family should show support onto what you did just like how you should
do when they do something like that.

3.How to be a good role model and being enthusiastic?

you need to be awesome and happy when something like showing respect.Being a good role model
means showing them how you actually are by demonstrating them things that they might or
might not need help with.It also means how you should feel like but for example,
they see you do something that is very encouraging then you need to be as normal as you usually
are but being nice to others.

Conclusion: Did this actually helps you to be nicer to be a good Daughter to those who care for you?
They would do anything for you.Is there anything that you want to do for them?
Always be a good role model to others as well.  What can you do to be a good role model?

Term 4 Intro

Today was a new start for Term 4 which is the last term for the whole year but also for the year 8's.As a school we usually  had an immersion assembly which our new theme which is called "Life's a stage".Life's a stage is all about drama,being dramatic and telling stories also dancing.But before that we had done that the whole of team 5 had a assembly  but it was all about 2 languages that are happening this week.I'm hoping for that we do some fun things during the term as we have athletics in week 5.For my goals for this term is to enjoy myself and be more confident to others.The one thing I want to remember for myself is to be more focused and do my best.

The Figurative Language Game

Number 28 2019 Writing (Lake alice is truly haunted and the grey nurse is a ghost)

In a Place far away from East New Zealand there was a rumor going around to watch out for a person called “Number 28”. Number 28 has been spotted lurking around a town called Lake Alice in the mid 20s.Number 28 was supposed to be a friendly person but he got arrested by the police and was sent to go to a women's asylum for being claimed as crazy.He was supposed to move into a different asylum but this one was for the best.As this was happening he got CURSED and is now called Number 28.He was skinny.People spread this rumor around for a reason or even people have claimed he was friendly but he wasn’t at all.On Friday’s you can see Number 28 going somewhere but only when you’re by yourself and when it’s Midnight.There was this girl called Pilinilose who wanted to see if this was real.So one friday night when the clock ticked midnight she left and was walking.When she was walking to the town where he was spotted.She had noticed that Number 28 was going somewhere but where?He was going to her own house.Number 28 was slowly walking creepily while Pillinilose was truly terrified and wanted to go back but she knew it wasn’t safe going back either.But suddenly Pilinilose noticed something on the floor it looked like it was a photo of him when he was younger.Number 28 was going towards her house because he knew she wasn’t there so it’s fine to go.Alice was truly nearly in danger but she knew it was fine.During the nighttime she was so scared and looking for somewhere to stay but soon she realised her own parents are at her house so  then she let a tear flowed down her cheek.Then suddenly she heard Voices that were saying “Let us go please” or “Help us please let us live we’ll give you anything” but it all was stopped.Soon after she was starting to feel a bit brave so she walked to her house to check on them but what she found was really disturbing and disgusting.Her Parents were in a pool of blood.But she heard a voice that was upstairs saying “One two” creepily so she had hid under a bed that was her own.She had started praying for that person to not come to where she was but she knew it was NUMBER 28.She cried silently but her sister Hillary had seen her and said “Look we need to leave soon” Pilinilose was nodding but the counting came closer and closer.So suddenly she knew a way to get out of there so she said this “Hillary follow after me” and she did.They managed to get out of there.but was soon greeted with Number 28 saying “Come with me and you’ll live” Pilinilose and Hillary followed him and they went inside an abandoned Asylum where he was sent.when that happened he told his friend the Grey Nurse to take one of them & she took Hillary then left to go inside a room where Hillary was shouting and crying for help then after 3 minutes it all stopped.Pilinilose was begging Number 28 to let her go he was going to let her go but he hit her instead.She passed out then Number 28 dragged her to the same room where the grey nurse was and ended her life for not doing what he said which was to NEVER BEG HIM or else you will suffer but the police came and took her but Number 28 was gone same as the grey nurse.

Once A Panther

Today we had another new task but it's our last task for the term which is about Polynesian Panthers.What are panthers? they are an animal which are actually called black panthers.They also have a name after them which is just called "Black panthers" or "Wakanda".These creatures are really amazing and interesting as well.This story was written by "MICHEL MULIPOLA".
